MariConnect VSAT

MariConnect VSAT is a managed Internet access for ships, allowing them to stay connected at all times. The service is offered with long-standing partner Globecomm. MariConnect VSAT enables Internet, e-mail, phone, fax, and video streaming access. With global VSAT coverage, you get seamless switching from one satellite to another – allowing you to stay connected wherever you are at sea.

MariConnect offers VSAT on various platforms, one of which is the Comtech Vipersat platform. Vipersat offers dynamic bandwidth allocation, giving customers dedicated bandwidth which can be used for certain predetermined tasks, such as data backups, live video streaming or other large data transfers to the onshore office.
